Rushden & Diamonds loan striker Paris-Cowan Hall says the club have the facilities and ability to get promoted. The 20-year-old forward is on a month's loan from Scunthorpe and scored on his debut against Eastbourne Borough.

Cowan-Hall told BBC Radio Northampton: "The facilities here are unreal for where they are, they're Championship or high League One facilities.

"I think they could be in the play-offs and go up. There's good ability in the team and they've got a good chance."

Rushden and Diamonds lie eighth in the Blue Square Bet Premier after the

2-0 win over bottom side Eastbourne Borough on Tuesday.

Cown-Hall also said that he hoped to use his time at Rushden to push for a Scunthorpe starting berth, adding: "I've got off to a good start [for Diamonds] but I just have to keep pushing on, keep scoring and doing well.

"At Scunthorpe, the manager is in a hard position because they're not winning all the time and he's brought new players in, so they've got priority to play.

"I'm hoping that if I keep impressing and I do go back then I'll get more of a chance than I've had."
